There's something about the Utah landscape that screams romance. Zak and Lacee definitely have been experiencing similar feelings. Although this was actually an editorial piece for www.mybridalcloset.com, the cords of passion were definitely present in the air for Zak and Lacee, as we shot this bridal shoot.
Nephi Garcia is one of the countries finest couture dress designers; If you can't tell from the 6 yard train on this amazing gown, and the 9 yard train on the veil! He has recently launched www.nephigarcia.com where his had made gowns can be found. As always, I was completely amazed by his work.
I don't think I've ever had a someone laugh so much on a shoot as Lacie did today. I'm also pretty sure I didn't have much to do with it. Quinten and Lacie have just such a wonderful energy and lust for life about them. It took me about 5 minutes to realise that this shoot was going to be so much FUN! Lacie is so contagiously full of life, and Quinten is up for pretty much anything. We drove up the canyon to find sundrenched vistas, and ended up by Tibble Fork Canyon Reservoir. We were able to shoot some beautiful portraits in this serene part of Utah. As we shot their portraits by the beautiful mountains, we got to know these two.
This beautiful gown is a Maggie Sottero, from www.mybridalcloset.com.
Payson Canyon is such a wonderful place to shoot a formal wedding session. The way the light caresses the landscape is breath-taking; there's simply no other word for it. I truly feel Utah is spoiled for scenery to backdrop a bride and groom against. Trevor and Jessica are equally as stunning.
