Jay and Stacy | Provo Canyon | Utah Wedding Photographer

There are times when I sit down to write a blog post, and words elude me. Right now is one of those times. The reason being is that Jay and Stacy are more than just wedding clients.

They are my friends. I love them.

I love being around Jay when he makes i̶n̶a̶p̶p̶r̶o̶p̶r̶i̶a̶t̶e̶  jokes, and the I love seeing the face and hearing the laughter Stacy makes when he does. I love seeing Stacy grow as a photographer, and when she publishes new work it makes me smile. Jay is actually a photographer too. The first editorial shoot I ever did was with him. I winch now when I look at those images that were taken in the Wasatch mountains, but I learned so much from him in doing so, and the whole experience is one I treasure.0

What I'm really trying to say is, I'm glad they have found each other I'm glad they balance each other's personality so well. The fact that they live to make each other happy is easy to see. Here's a little glimpse into their river side engagement session.

Quinten and Lacie | Tibble Fork Canyon | Utah Wedding Photographer

I don't think I've ever had a someone laugh so much on a shoot as Lacie did today. I'm also pretty sure I didn't have much to do with it. Quinten and Lacie have just such a wonderful energy and lust for life about them. It took me about 5 minutes to realise that this shoot was going to be so much FUN! Lacie is so contagiously full of life, and Quinten is up for pretty much anything. We drove up the canyon to find sundrenched vistas, and ended up by Tibble Fork Canyon Reservoir. We were able to shoot some beautiful portraits in this serene part of Utah.  As we shot their portraits by the beautiful mountains, we got to know these two.

Trevor and Jessica | Payson Canyon | Utah Wedding Photographer

Payson Canyon is such a wonderful place to shoot a formal wedding session. The way the light caresses the landscape is breath-taking; there's simply no other word for it. I truly feel Utah is spoiled for scenery to backdrop a bride and groom against. Trevor and Jessica are equally as stunning.
